This site is the best place to check out and compare cameras before you buy. It also has a great learning section and a fantastic photography competition section. There are also forums and sample galleries. It is one of my favourite online destinations.
I am quite passionate about workflow and best practice, this site brings the two together. It is informative and comprehensive. It is there to explain how you should manage your digital assets and how best to work with the information for archiving and longevity of your files.

DXO is a technical site that reviews sensors and camera oprics. I find it the section on sensor commparisons particually interesting.
